In my opinion I feel that 9/11 was a tragic event that hurt and helped us to become a better and stronger nation. We lost a lot of policemen and firer fighters in the process of trying to save people from the burning towers. All those fire fighters were so brave going into a burning tower knowing that it could fall in second to save strangers that they've never met before. This horrible event also helped us to become stronger and better. Now we have upped all the security on all airports and lots of other places too. This tragic event also gave America a big smack in the face to let us know that we should never get to comfortable about us being one of the greatest nations in the world and that we are still able to be attcaked.

This event did help us in the end, I'm just upset that it cost us so much to be able to grow as a nation. This event is going to be forever documented in history, America is a smart nation and i know we will not let this happen again.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Devin. The attack of the World Trade Centers on September 11, 2001 forever changed our country. It brought many people lots of hardships, like losing loved ones, but this act of terrorism helped us come together as a country. We now have some of the most secure airports in the world, along with many other security advancements. Also it helped us realize that terrorism is all around us and that we need to stop it no matter where it is taking place. For example, currently we are trying to stop the ISIS movement even though it is not taking place in our country (but americans have been killed). Overall, I agree with Devin.
